Pleasantly surprised for size and price
I was looking for a waterproof speaker, primarily for use in the shower, and I saw this one amongst no-name brands. I have used other Anker products before and am reasonably assured of their quality. This speaker continues that. It is well made and with the rubberized outer case seems up to the task of taking the occasional tumble. That said, this kind of rubber coating I’ve seen before that over time without proper care and sun/heat exposure can degrade (get ‘gummy’). As new, it’s good and makes for a solid grip and I plan to treat it well (time will tell on how it endures).Sound-wise, I am somewhat impressed. Usually compact speakers are tinny highs and muddy mids and do poorly on the low end, but this one is not like that. The sound is bright without being tinny on the highs, has nice mellow mids that aren’t muddy, and decent low end for the size. It doesn’t reach to deep end lows like the dedicated sub I have in my car, but it gets low enough to hear a good beat. From my own testing, the cutoff seems to be about 80Hz (E2, lowest note on guitar), below which it quickly drops to inaudible by 50Hz (G1). Probably not meant for deep bass tracks.For the controls, I like the raised buttons on the top, making easy to find the right button without looking. The controls themselves are simple and straightforward – Power, Vol Dn, Play/Pause, Vol Up, BT Pairing. I did find a feature that is not documented, the ability to skip Forward by press Play 2x (quickly), and skip Backward by press Play 3x. I saw other reviewers saying they wish this had Fwd/Rev, but it actually does have it, just not documented. (I’ve noticed the 2x and 3x pattern in other BT devices so I tried it here and it worked!)Battery life is so far so good. I’ve had this for 3 days and have had it playing for several hours over that time and it still read 70%. I received it with 50% charge (typical) and it must support fast charging because after a little over an hour on my phone charger (USB-C) it was up to 100%.Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase. Getting it cheaper on AZ lightning discount was a plus. I might get a second while the promo is still on.

Great budget speaker for my need
I need a speaker to play kids music. I bought one Bose speaker. the bass is way too much to hear clearly. bose is probably for professional music listeners. So got this cheaper one hoping it does not do fancy sound processing. and it does not. i love it. same quality sound as my phone speaker. It is an average size speaker so i can carry it with me everywhere. i have not charged since i got it. the battery life is amazing.

Great Sound in a small package
I have an older version of this from 2017. The power source on my old one seems to be fading.I have to charge it a lot more. So I decided to look into the new ones and use my old one in my office, and the new one is for the house and it’s fabulous. Anchor is a great brand and I have never had an issue. It’s small to pack in a backpack, or a big purse : ) It connects immediately to my other devices. It’s a tough little BT Speaker. Simple to use : ) I am quite pleased…

Good value and size but sounds tiny versus JBL Flip 6
The sound is decent for its price and small compact size. Battery life is great and it has water resistant capabilities. You can see from the photos that the Soundcore 2 has been used a lot.Why am I giving it four stars? Iâve upgraded my speaker to a JBL Flip 6. The JBL is multiples more expensive and slightly larger than the Soundcore 2.But when I used the JBL Flip 6 and had to temporarily go back to my old Soundcore 2, the Anker sounded very tiny. The JBL Flip 6 has more watts, has better bass, and has clearer vocals.If money or compact size isnât an issue, I would go for the JBL 6 (or even JBL 5). But if you want value and money is an issue, then the Anker Soundcore 2 is a great value.I put the two products side by side and the JBL isnât that much bigger than the Anker Soundcore 2.So decide what you want in the product and what your budget is, which will help you decide between the Soundcore 2, JBL 6, or another product.

Quality Sound!
I am a home care provider. My client is a former music teacher. I purchased this so we could listen to music while we go about our day.So first, when I received this in the mail, I opened it and checked how much charge was available directly out of the box. More than half. Pretty awesome actually. It holds a charge pretty well!2- connecting the speaker to my phone so I could test the sound quality. Holy snapples! So crisp! So clear! The volume, I noticed I can control the volume via the speaker itself or by my phone. Seeing as volume was already 1/4 way up and sounded like I had a full on stereo was incredible.3- i like that this speaker is compact enough that I can tuck it safely in my go back for work and it doesn’t take up space.For the price, the ease of connectivity, and the durability, I would 100% recommend this speaker any day to everyone. So far I have several products from this brand and they have blown me out of the water. Quality over quantity any day!

Anker Always comes through with great products. It works well. The range is within 30 feet. You can hear clear get good Bluetooth signal. It’s durable, the setup was very easy. The color is a matte black and it sounds incredible. You can’t go wrong, highly recommend!!

I had a JBL charge 5 and loved it but noticed the battery is not the greatest.I bought this cute little Anker speaker and used it for two shifts of work and still had battery life in it.Doesnât have the best bass but the sound is good enough for the size of the speaker and especially the price I wouldnât look at anything else unless you want a big speaker

Es mi tercera compra de Soundcore 2, la primera la obsequie, después compré otra para mÃ, pero tenÃa ganas de probar el emparejamiento estéreo y quedé muy satisfecho con mi compra, no suenan tan potente como podrá quedarte sordo, pero cumple muy bien para ambientar una habitación con buena calidad, suenan mucho mejor (sonido de mejor calidad, no más potente) que los bafles chinos monoaural de mayor tamaño. Excelente para la portátil o celular y disfrutar la música como se debe, en estéreo real y en cualquier lugar dentro o fuera de casa.
