TenÃa mis dudas de comprarlo por el bajo precio. Pero este printer imprime, escanea y fotocopia. Ideal para mÃ. No tiene fax. No envÃo faxes. Pienso que por eso es el bajo precio. Pero llegó rápido, bien empacado. Fácil de conectar e instalar. HP Envy Ispire 7958e vale la pena. Siempre he comprado impresoras HP. Trabajan por unos 4 ó 5 años sin problemas. Lo único que señalo de todas ellas es que los rolitos de alimentar el papel se desgastan y empiezan a atascar el papel. Signo de que ya la impresora cumplió con su vida útil. Me gustarÃa que vendieran los remplazos de esos rolitos para que la impresora dé más tiempo de uso.En general, recomiendo esta impresora. Trajo dos cartuchos de tinta: negro y a color. Los cartuchos de tinta no son tan costosos como en otras impresoras HP. Da opción de suscribirte a recibir las tintas.Trajo su cable de conectar a corriente.No trajo el cable de conectar a la computadora, pero tiene el puerto. Se conecta también inalámbricamente. Ideal para imprimir fotos, porque tiene una sección en la bandeja para colocar el papel de imprimir fotos. El color de la impresora es neutral, es un ivory con beige. Tiene una pantalla interactiva en donde puedes darle los comandos. Está clasificada con ENERGY STAR, que economiza energÃa. Imprime por ambos lados si asà lo necesitas; es cuestión de al momento de imprimir selecciones la opción de imprimir por ambos lados.Muy satisfecha con la impresora.

HEAVY INK SCAM/THIS PRINTER IS A LUDICROUS FARCE OF A SCHEME
What an absolute ludicrous farce of a scheme. It DOES NOT COME WITH 3 MONTHS OF FREE INK. What they meant by “3 months of free ink” is the SUBSCRIPTION for ink they are going to FORCE you to buy will be free for 3 months. Basically a 3 month trial. And, as if that wasn’t bad enough, of course the PRINTER COMES WITH VIRTUALLY NO INK IN IT. I printed 3 ten page long documents, THIRTY PAGES BEFORE IT RAN OUT. It ran out and I am so dumbfounded right now, i don’t even know what to do other than leave this review. They ought to make it so that you can leave zero stars. Also you have to figure all this out within 7 days of setup to be able to even get the 3 month discount. And moving on to it’s NEXT ISSUE, it literally will not work without being connected to a wifi network. It doesn’t matter if my computer is plugged in, if I’m scanning something, it HAS to have wifi to function at all. It cannot function or survive without wifi. The wifi is bad at the office so I had to take this home. I bought it when it was on sale because it sounded like a great deal. The money it saved is just going to go into the random subscription I am now forced to apply to. What absolute garbage. This printer lasts 30 pages. I’m so so so so so so disappointed in this printer and the trap it made me fall in to.

Problems occurred with set up
Now that everything is finally working I do have to say I love the printer. Prints very fast, beautiful photos but, while attempting to set this beauty up I encountered some issue. This printer was not recognized on my device and even though I went through the set up steps numerous times it would not complete the set up. Finally after trying for 2 hours I called HP tech support. ( number was nowhere to be found in the manual so I googled it.) After going through the same steps I did, they concluded that some important drivers were not installed properly and had to install them for me. After that it was easy peasy and it up and printing. Amazon did nothing wrong. This was all on HP and I’m so happy it was fixable cuz I really like this printer. Definitely will injoy printing more with the instant ink program.

It was cheap.
I bought this to replace a failed Canon megatank printer, which had a litany of issues. One of them was that the nozzles would be clogged whenever I went to use it. I was looking at laser printers when I came across this unit at a price I couldn’t pass up. And since the print heads are part of the ink cartridges, I figured clogged nozzles wouldn’t be an issue.I was wrong.I print only intermittently – a couple of times a month or less, though some of those jobs are many pages long. The first month this printer was great. Always ready and prints were acceptable. And then nozzles started clogging. Easy fix – clean them. But that uses ink. Expensive ink. Two months after purchase I had to run a cleaning cycle before every print job. Not acceptable. I just replaced the first set of tanks today, and I’m disappointed to report that even after a printhead alignment (which uses ink) large dark areas are still “bandy”. This is NOT a photographic printer, and I didn’t expect it to be. But I did expect consistent, even coverage in large areas of color. It does not deliver.The good: Setup was easy. Software automatically finds the printer on each PC, Mac, or phone. It’s fairly quiet (in quiet mode) and reasonably fast. The scan/copy functions work as expected.Print quality for text is good. Pages of text with small graphics look great.Auto duplexing (printing on the back side of the paper) was a nice surprise.The bad:It’s ugly. Ok, that’s subjective, but to me it is. The software package is heavy and it wants each user to register for HP’s instant Ink service. Only one user needs to do this. The software works if you don’t register, but it would be nice if that was made more clear during the install.The touch screen is not terribly responsive and there is no feedback. The paper tray cover, which is also the output tray, does not easily slide into place.Ink doesn’t last long. That’s the reason I went with a megatank printer last time. Ink tank life is reduced by the need to clean the nozzles every time I print. Did I mention that ink is expensive?Print quality for pictures is sub par. Dark areas are bandy. It’s probably acceptable for a picture embedded in a report, for example. I wouldn’t expect to use a printed picture on display in a frame.With moderately frequent use, a couple of times a week or more, this is probably a good printer. If you’re like me and sometimes go months between prints, this is not your printer. But then, most likely no inkjet is.One last note, in case HP reads this. The Canon that this printer replaced lasted well over a year before I had nozzle clog issues. This printer didn’t make it three months.

I bought this printer primarily to scan documents. The document feeder is useless. HP sent me a replacement printer. Same document feeder problems, but this printer wouldn’t print MS word documents properly. Support suggest I pay for support to fix this!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!! No wonder Consumer Reports rates HP printer lowest!!!
